About Us - Beavertown
Whether you are joining us for the first time, or have been in our district for a number of years, I want to welcome you to Beavertown Elementary School and the 2024-25 school year! Our faculty understands how critically important the elementary experience is for young students and their future success as a learner. As a team, we strive to develop a culture of learning where all children can develop skills of collaboration, communication, and the ability to think critically about their learning.
This year, we will continue to implement our Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) framework. PBIS is a schoolwide approach to improve student outcomes and school culture by fostering positive behaviors. As a district, we hold the same expectations for all of our Firebird students: We are Responsible, We are Respectful, and We are Safe. Staff regularly teach and reinforce positive behavior expectations across all school settings.
We are truly excited for this school year, one in which we will continue to bring together our amazing Beavertown community through our wonderful school events. Please consider volunteering when you can and joining our Parent Teacher Association (PTA). You are an important part of the success of your child and what makes Beavertown School so special!
